Should we Generate a new world in 1.9? [VOTE]

DO YOU WANT THE NEW FEATURES OF 1.9?
Advantages:

- All new Land features including:
---- Volcanoes
---- Snow Biome (its back!)
---- Mushroom Biome
---- The new Swamp Biome
---- Possibly a new Ore
---- Much MUCH more.

- Better server speed (compared to having a 1.8 world in minecarft 1.9)
---- When Server is running on its based world (a 1.9 world) it will be under less stress/less lag.

- Chances for you to explore New land, and recover new ores and such!

- Start your Kingdom or even House where YOU want, but be quick! Before someone takes your spot! xD

- Your Money will be kept.

- You will be designated 3 FULL CHESTS of space to transfer any items or such to the new world.

Disadvantages:

- You will lose all your Inventions, and things currently built.

- Rebuilding would take a while.

- If new land features come out in 1.10 (or 2.0), then we would have to re-generate the world again. God help notch if he does so for I will stab that kent xD



The ONLY THINGS that will be copied over are your 3 designated Chests, Cityside, The Mob-Arena and the Spawn Tower. The rest will stay, do not ask.

guys 1.9 comes out with the full game sooo u wont need to regenerate again

Hi Guys,

I just want to add to this discussion.

I think that it is worth updating the server, because we all want the new things. Yes it will suck to lose all what we have (and believe me, i've spent days, weeks, months!!! building my little area) but at least we are getting 3 chests to bring everything decent with us.

i say suck it up, embrace change and lets go 1.9 !!!!!!

Yeah, I'm normally on between 6pm and 10pm UK time on the weekdays.....and then when ever I can get on over the weekends!
